Digital Voice Recorder in MP3

Does anyone know if there is a recorder that records in MP3 format? It is such a pain to download my lectures, convert the files and then import them into I-Tunes to load to my MP3 player. I thought I had seen someone mention one here...

If you search Amazon.com for "digital recorder mp3", that gives plenty of hits. Careful, though - some record in WMA format, but can also playback MP3 music files.

Some units are shown which record in MP3 format - just look through the ones found by the search (above), and pick one from that.
