Class of 2010 (starting nursing school in Fall 2008)

For those of us who just got accepted to nursing school and have to wait 2 freaking years to start ...check in here!!

Personally, I will have things to do next year though. I have to go through the nursing asst. program first (Spring '07). Then, we're allowed to take Pharmacology and Dosage Calculations one semester before we start actual nursing school.

Of course, there's all those immunizations to look forward to also!

A long waiting list! I thought there were many other schools around the country with 2 yr. waiting lists also. I know mine isn't the only one.

Well I'm hoping to start Fall 2007...but I'm probably gonna graduate from my BSN program either Fall 2009 or Winter 2010. Do I count?

I just switched my major on Monday to pre-nursing and I'm going into my second year of college, so I'm gonna be applying to nursing school for fall '07, but I'm competing with those who started in pre-nursing and are guaranteed a spot with a 3.5. I need at least a 3.7.

Re: Class of 2010 (starting nursing school in Fall 2008)

I was just wondering if your on any kind of waiting list i know the rn program i was in had a two year wait but i got in a year earlier.. but now there wait is even longer any more im now going into the lpn program and i still have to wait a year for that then im just going to bridge over to rn at a diffrent school. but if you cant get in any sooner take as many coures as you can before the actual program so you can focus on mainly the nursing classes. good luck
