Re: Anyone NOT winning Mom-of-the-Year award?

The biggest dust bunnies live at my house.
Figure if 19yo, 23yo and 55yo men can't run a vaccum or do dishes while I'm working 60+ hours per week, they can choak or stave while I pay the electric bill to run 8 home computers theyre engrossed with role playing games.....

.......... allnurses time does NOT count, this is BUSINESS, not pleasure RIGHT????????

Re: Anyone NOT winning Mom-of-the-Year award?

I cant remember the last time that i had a 'spotless' house, actually yeah i can as it was the week before i started NS I do feel guilty for not having as much time or energy to spend with my daughter, who is 4 today but i keep reminding myself that i am doing this so that we can all have a better life when i qualify.

I do feel awful when i have someone over and i have to say 'please mind the washing/mess/ironing as ive not had time to do it' but an unironed shirt isnt going to kill someone

Re: Anyone NOT winning Mom-of-the-Year award?

I love this topic,
and I feel for each and every one of you!

I started nursing school (ADN program) in January, my son was 7 months old)
and please believe it was the hardest thing I've ever done!

I had all my prereqs done (except microbiology)LUCKILY!
and I get to hear how bad my husband has it having to get up
2 days a week to watch Dalton while I had clinicals!
OMG! But somehow I have made it through the first semester alive,
and so has my son, and I haven't killed my husband yet...lol
Good luck to all you ladies,
We may be suffering now, but the benefits will be 10 fold when we graduate!
