I start on August 25. We have orientation on the 22nd. All of our clinicals are during the day.

I also start in the fall at an RN program here in Northern Cali. The semester begins on August 23 but I believe we actually start school on the 26th. Orientation is on June 10.

I don't start until September 2nd, and we get no choice about when our clinicals will be. They are all 6:45a-12:45a (for the first semester). It's pretty cool that you get a choice!

And no, we haven't even gotten a letter telling us when our orientation will be, yet! *nervous*

I am forunate enough that I don't have to work while going to nursing school so I can concentrate solely on school. Our children are grown and gone. I'm an oldie! 49!!! Yikes, that scares me! ha. Anyway I am taking A & P this summer, and the fall classes start on Sept. 3. I will be doing clinicals at the hospital from 2:00 to 8:00 on Weds-Thurs. This is a whole new experience for me. No experience in the medical field whatsoever, but I am very excited to get started! I wish all of you the best of luck!

Hey...I'll be joining you! I start NS in the fall (Sept. 2nd). My orientation is June 16th. I'm also married and working full time. I'm taking A&P II this summer and Life span development. What are you all doing to get ready for NS?

I've got a book on order for "Test Success: Test-Taking Techniques for Beginning Nursing Students 4th Edition". I've taken all my prereq's already so thankfully all I have to focus on is the real nursing classes. I am taking Statistics this summer as a prereq to my BS.

Hi Everyone! it is great to have a group starting all this at the same time ...so we can all talk~
i am also starting NS this fall. I am married and have a family, but school is my JOB for now ..(I just wish I knew where to pick up my pay checks! i'd be set if I could figured that out huh?LOL)
First day of classes is AUG 18th but no word yet on orientation, soon I hope....i have found out that our clinicals are all day shift either Wed or Friday ,7-2:30!
