Unethical behavior?

Had a school nurse "bare false witness" against me. Head of personnel said "well, the nurse has to have some credibility." Whatever that means. What should I do? Any advice, please.
She is the type of person who makes nurses look bad and what she said was horrible.

Re: Unethical behavior?

I believe the nurse. What is her motivation to lie?

Re: Unethical behavior?

Wow. O.K. I almost don't know what to say to that. Why does anyone lie?

She doesn't like me, plain and simple. This is someone who doesn't like anybody, always saying mean things and critisizing(sp?) everyone.

I am a nursing student myself by the way. Not here trolling for dirt...

Ask for a meeting with your instructor, the nurse, personnel and you. Confronting these type of people, in my experience, makes them tend to rethink their behavior.

Re: Unethical behavior?

Thank you. Great advice. You are right on. Unfortunately I have since resigned.
I will remember this for future reference as this situation is going to bother me for years to come. I can't help but think it has to be hard for her to live with what she has done though. She knows...
