Question Need your help PLEEZE !

I have a diabetic student who comes in each day for thier insulin. I try to give this child privacy. I need time to figure just how much insulin to give him. I am finding it harder and harder to have a clear head when I have phones ringing, constant line of traffic coming in the clinic. How do you handle this in your clinics ? I really need your feedback. Thanks !

Re: Need your help PLEEZE !

I shut my door and do not answer the phone for a few minutes. This child's care is important and you should not be distracted or you could make a mistake. you have to ask for what you need

I use a trifold screen (it cost around $89) when my diabetic students come in. It gives them privacy when someone else is in my office. I also step behind it when figuring and checking their insulin. I ignore the phone and ask anyone who comes in to sign in and have a seat! Hope this helps!
