Hello,

I work at a high school in Dallas, Tx that need an Alcohol and Drug Analyzer Testing Equipment to start for next year. Kids brought in to me high on weed, alcohol or other is assessed only with a one page sheet that looks at speech, gait, pupil size, odor, regular vital signs. I need a system that detects alcohol, marijuana, cocaine and maybe heroin in minutes and has a policy that is fair and lists the consequences of such that can stand up in court. Anybody know of one or have one in place? Thanks. I am a RN with a Clinic assist in a school of 900.

Sounds like you need some legal/local police help on this one. We are fortunate to have a police "station" at our school complex. I am not saying it isn't a good idea but where is the admin on this one? I think I would prefer to do the assessment part. Was this something you felt was necessary or are you being asked to do it? Our admin will get them out even though we don't test the kid because they are impaired by our assessment.
