annual PIP professional improvement plan

Does anyone have any good ideas for the school nurse's annual pip? I am a school nurse in New Jersey. The PIP has to relate to what the nurse can do to improve herself professionally, not plans to improve the school. Hard to come up with new ideas every year

Re: annual PIP professional improvement plan

Pandemic preparedness courses were one thing I did. Also EMI (Empowering Multicultural Initiatives) courses to learn more about other cultures and their impact on health, illness and treatment. This latter was hugely valuable. Good luck.

Re: annual PIP professional improvement plan

We don't have to do this in IL, but I think that I might just do one for my personal growth.
I (as some of you may have read) have found it challening to be in a building where the majority do not understand what I do & have been given tasks that are not within my scope of practice, but do it because I am a team player...blah, blah, blah!

I will have to get on that!
