I am intersted ot hear how some of the Nurse Managers handle the rivalry between techs and RN's. Any helpful hints on this subject would be appreciated.

The key is to have respect among all staff members. Let the techs know that they are important members of the team, not just workhorses. If the RN's have respect for the techs it becomes reciprocal very quickly.
