We have used two different companies to do our inpatient dialysis and neither one has been satisfactory. We have done a cost and quality analysis and have decided we would like to start our own inpatient dialysis.
We are researching every avenue on how we proceed on starting a unit up. Does anyone have any advice or resources that we can use?
I would contact your local network for ESRD first. I'm in network 7 here in SE Florida. And, for many available freebie advice, contact your local Epogen provider and other drug companies that market directly to clinics for renal patients. They will be a source of lots of free goodies too. Have you decided whose equipment you will use yet?(dialyzers, dialysate etc). How exciting, what city are you in?
Thanks for the tips! We haven't decided on equipment yet, I have quotes and we are going to evaluate. Do you know what is most commonly used?
We are in Huntington.

nyahh,, I do agree that is the cheapest. It is a fast growing dialysis company here in england. We just recently privatized by fresinius and change our machine from Gambro ,due to the fact that our NHS(National health service) Trust trying to cut down expenses.
