Re: Review Books For Cdn Certification

Hi. I've posted thewe a couple of times in the past, but thewe are what I used:

Review of Hemodialysis for nurses and Dialysis Personnel
Mosby

Dialysis Therapy
by Nissenson and Fine

and the bible,Handbook of Dialysis
by John T Daugirdas

There are other suggestions on the CDN site. Hope this helps

Re: Review Books For Cdn Certification

I am looking for a Hemodialysis Training Course that is reliable. I signed to take a class with NEMRACK INFUSION TECHNOLOGY for a hemodialysis class in Bronx, NY. They rescheduled(cancled) the class twice after taking my credit card information. I am looking for a training class.
I work during the week full time and its hard for me to get time off Should I contact a dialysis center? Do you think some will train on the weekend or evenings? Thanks

Re: Review Books For Cdn Certification

If you have dialysis experience, the hemodialysis questions will not be hard for you. However, there were quite a few questions on cardiac patients/meds, etc. and also Peritoneal Dialysis and Pediatric Dialysis.
Diabetes, meds, etc. Good Luck!
