Question Home Hemodialysis Training

Hello Everyone, I am attempting to start a home hemodialysis program for our clinic and am looking for resources. Does anyone have a training guide, checklist or other materials? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much !

Thanks..I appreciate your response. I am looking for the nuts and bolts of day to day training. I am writing the darn polices myself and thought I could cheat with a sample checklist...did not want to re invent the wheel!!

Hello-
Do you know of any establishments that do individual training for home hemodialysis? i am a Dialysis nurse and i am interested in doing a subcontracting business for follow-up care, and home visits.

Re: Home Hemodialysis Training

I live in central IL (near Peoria) and we have a Fresenius home hemo program that is just now getting up and running and then we also have Next Stage. Here are some sites:

This is a nice one: Home Hemo Central:

http://www.homedialysis.org/

Here's some up to date (2006) info about home hemo:

Hope these help.
