dressing allergies

Can anyone out there help. One of my patients seems to be allergic to just about every type of dressing we put on her Tessio line. She can't tolerate Tegaderm or Mepore type dressings at all. Has anyone had similar problems and what did you do? Thanks

I agree with the previous post. In the outpatient dialysis center where I work, we use guaze and paper tape! I was kinda shocked at this (comming from the hospital environment) since I was accustomed to using tegaderm, etc... Suggest this to the MD and see what they say. Hope this helps!!!
