Hello. I have been an ICU nurse for 7 years and looking into doing dialysis for a permanent position. I had the phone interview with Davita today and will be doing a clinic interview in 2 weeks. Can anyone tell me about the 2 clinics in St.Louis, how they like it, pay rates, etc? I have been traveling awhile and have a tough skin, but dialysis is new to me and I want to make sure I do have good training in it. Thanks!

Re: Davita St.Louis

Hello. I work for Davita in another state, but I will advise that you request another nurse to train you and a tech only to show you how to work the machine, and pt times. Good luck!

P. S. Make sure you get the job before making this request!

I worked with DaVita in LA... it was bad. My thought is go check out the unit first. Ask what the ratio is...so on.

I am looking to move to St.Louis this year! Any advice? I hear BJC is nice? I will probably transfer with FMC.
