Crash cart/oxygen available in outpatient units

Hi all-Is it a requirement for dialysis units to have oxygen available and/or a crash cart in case a patient crashes? Our unit has them, but I was wondering if it was a state requirement or federal, or a unit policy. Thank you,

Re: Crash cart/oxygen available in outpatient units

We had a crash cart, and every unit I've ever been in had one. Oxygen is a must, as many patient are on 02.. we had 3 concentrators and several back-up tanks. Many patients brought their own tanks as well.

Yes, crash carts checked each shift and oxygen tanks are a requirement. Concentrators don't provide enough during a code.
