Question for school paper

Hi,

I am still only a student, but was wondering if anyone might be willing to answer a few questions. I am writing a research paper on the correlation between smoking and schizophrenia. I need to interview live people as part of my research so figured I would try my shot here by talking to a couple health care workers. Thanks for any help you might be able to provide! if you agree I can send you an email with a list of questions and you can answer what you feel comfortable with etc. Thanks!

Cyrene

Re: Question for school paper

these links might help. --- http://www.schizophrenia.com/smokereport.htm#pos

http://apt.rcpsych.org/cgi/content/full/6/5/327

good luck.

Working in a Psych Clinic, I just know that it's very rare to see non smoking clients. Main reason they say is stress...I do too lol...but i guess schizophrenic patients are more prone to stress, insomnia etc.

Now I need a cig LOL.

Re: Question for school paper

Hi, Probably not much help but... I know I read an article quite a few years ago that stated that smoking helped to decrease or lower the "voices". Might be worth investigating. Sorry I can't remember the article.
