group activity suggestions??

Hello...

Any therapeutic milieu group acitivity suggestions?? I'm a nursing student and we're supposed to eventually lead a group/community meeting, and I am not creative at all. I know this unit has done activites such as "word of the day" and creativity groups such as singing and drawing, but I don't know what else to come up with. What about group ice breakers or something??

Re: group activity suggestions??

Here is one that involves a roll of toilet paper. Give roll to pt. and instruct to take some and pass it down. If they ask how much, you tell them as much as they want. Then after it is passed, start with the first person and tell them for each square they tore off, they need to tell group something about themselves.
