Question Care Tracks

Care plans/Care tracks.

What is currently used in your area of inpatient care?

I would be really interested to be informed about different plans for patiets care.

Care plans are what we use but they are many staff unhappy about them.
I was thinking there must be other tools.
So I decided to ask all of you.

Best Wishes to all.
Loray.

on admission we identify problems which then each have a pick list for plans [we are on computers]. these plans can then be individualized each shift. I appreciate we can delete the 'boilerplate' and write our own plans and goals.
we also have a few care tracks, like for heroin or etoh withdrawl, which include doctors' orders for meds.
