Quick question about RADE

I have a client diagnosed with asthma 2 years ago. Was admitted to the hospital yesterday. The diagnosis is RADE. What is this??? I can't find reference to it anywhere. Thanks in advance.

No responses thus far--that suggests no one else has heard of RADE either. Are you sure of the spelling--was it written in medical hieroglyphics (sp?). Have you asked the physician who wrote the diagnosis?

I later learned that another name for asthma is Reactive Airway Disease and this was an Exacerbation of the disease. Thanks for the response. I appreciate it.
