Hello everyone, I am about to graduate with a BSN this December and I'm interested in public health/community nursing. I don't know a great deal about this nursing field, however I'm about to start community health clinicals so hopefully that will give me a better idea. I was just wondering if it's possible to get a job in this field right after graduation without any hospital experience? I know they say that everyone should get at least a year's experience in med/surg after they graduate, but I'd really rather not do that because I'm not sure if I can handle the stress and workload. Thanks!
