Can I be a Public nurse if I work in the OR?

I am currently working in the OR as a circulor nurse. I am wondering
1. How I can find a public nursing job?
2. Will they hire me if I only have a few months of floor experience?

Find the websites for your state and county health departments as a start...I don't know how much experience is required, but all you can do is try, and all they can do is say yes or no.
