request for general info on Pediatric Nurse Practioner

My child is doing a career report and has chosen Pediatric Nurse Practioners. Unfortunately, we are not finding much on the internet and are wondering if anyone can suggest a good site or two with general information on the profession.

Info needed is around what they do, where they work (in general) and education needed. Any personal reflection on the rewards of the job would be wonderful.
