You may want to clarify what your asking to be performed?? ie. observation? Post-op T&A patients are continually observed. I can't respond for other facilities, however, our facility has very specific care requirements for any post-operative patient ie. vitals etc.. Our patients stay for a minimum of 6 hours post extubation, and must meet certain criteria to qualify for discharge.
Does this answer any or all of your question?
Regards!
