I will be graduating in May 2008 as an ADN RN and I am really interested in becoming a peds nurse. What are the best hospitals for peds in NYC? Alos would it help if I became a tech on a ped floor first?

Re: Peds in NYC

New York is a pretty big state...where are you? If you live on Long Island, you should look into Schneider's Children's Hospital. In Manhattan there is Morgan Stanley's Children's Hospital on the West Side and the Komansky Center for Children's Health on the East Side.

Actually, Schneider's is in Queens, and Morgan Stanley's Children's Hospital is in Manhattan.
