My community college is great, but we're about an hour north of Philly. The instructors are extremely supportive, knowledgable, with a wealth of experience.
Our lab "assistant" (instructor really) is like Rosie O'donnell, she makes learning the hands on so much fun.
I go to Northampton Community College in Bethlehem, Pa. If you want to apply for the fall though, you need to attend an information session in January or February to be considered. Here's the website:
