Interviewing at a Children's Hospital

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to know if anybody has interviewed with a Children's Hospital, particularly CH of Philadelphia, and if you have, what is the process like? How many people and who do you interview with? Is there any kind of test you have to take when interviewing at a Children's Hospital? I have an interview coming up and I don't know what to expect. I'm a recent graduate with no hospital experience and that is making me nervous about getting the job.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

there's nothing wrong with calling the person who scheduled your interview and asking those very good questions.

i still ask those questions before every interview!

Re: Interviewing at a Children's Hospital

John, I just read you posting about interviewing at CHOP although I see it was from June. Just wondering when did you apply to CHOP? I live in Phila and am graduating in May and heard that it's best to begin applying to places in Jan. How did your interview go? Did you get the job!? If so, how was the orientation? I heard theirs is pretty good. How do you like it so far? Did you get your BSN or ASN?
Let me know! Thanks! Michele
