Infant Cardiac Cath

Today I had a 2 m/o following a cardiac cath with the usual orders to keep leg straight for 6 hours following procedure. The mother was great and was willing to hold the infant for the time being, keep her calm and leg straight. What are some other ways to keep infants' legs straight? I'm so hesistant about using restraints. . .
