Ok guys- Can anyone tell me, is there a difference in appearence of hives due to the cause? I mean- if an outbreak is caused by meds, does it have any particluar characteristics? How about if it's caused by allergies, or a cold? What if the hives occompany nasal congestion & a slight fever? Denies itching, pain, headache or GI upset.

I'm trying to track down the cause- and am really coming up with so many possibiities, any words of wisdom would be great.
