Is there any reason to be concerned if a 9 year old has gray hairs?

I had a girl I went to school with that had gray hair. It was a birth mark.

How do you mean 'concerned' ?

My childhood buddy had a premature head of "salt n peppah" by the time he was an adolescent. Some of the kids used to tease him about it... but that's it.

He's a software engineer in New Zealand now. Happy, healthy and prodigiously producing babies with his lovely wife

Mama had a streak grey hair at age 2. Mine didn't appear til I was 19. My sister's came at about 12.

Is there more to your question? Is there a person that you are concerned about? IF so then their primary medical care prof. is the one to ask.

Really I don't see any reason to be concerned about it but she has a dr's appt for her adhd management today so I will ask. Bless her heart she's nearing puberty and has a few gray hairs. I just pulled my very first one out a few months ago.
