I am unpaid staff as a part-time Parish Nurse, I have a small budget line for books, resources, speakers. So far that has been all I needed. Some in our area have written Grants for development of Parish Nurse programs.

Here is an Idea

Have you ever heard of Grocery Store Certificate programs.
How ideal it would be for a Parish Nurse to be self funding by utilizing the same concept but incorporating the use of E-Commerce.
It works this way
When ever a Parishiner becomes a part of the Parish Nurses Off-Line community of on line shoppers, the Parish Nurse obtains income from that loyal shoping traffic.
My Parish has a Grocery Store Certificate program in place if you are interested in learning more about it.
As for the idea of utilizing ownership in your own E-Commerce Franchise and how that could help fund your Parish Nurse Program...JB

BTW Pan Evans I saw that you are from Derby Ks...Hello...I graduated from Nursing School At Wesley Medical Center in Wichita Dec 1979

Interesting Name

Mixed feelings of someone taking the name of a saint as a screen name.

The parish nurses I know are all volunteers, and have regular jobs to pay the bills.

Is anyone being paid for this?
