OR Standards book

How many of you purchase the "OR Standards" book from AORN.org, or a local bookstore each year?

This was recommended for me to buy, in which I definitely will, but I wonder how long it is beneficial to purchase it?

Is this book good for a perioperative nurse who has been in the OR for years, or is it mainly for beginners or 'green nurses' like myself????

Re: OR Standards book

We have a very similar standard to AORN's in Australia. I haven't bought it because it's available for staff to read at work. If i'm not sure of anything i just read it as i go along. I personally don't think it's worth buying if your workplace has it on site.
