Re: qualitication of operation room nurses

Qualifications can range from an OR internship at your hospital, a training program through your hospital or even an outside education in scrubbing for your facility to put you in the OR. What have you done in your hospital?

Re: qualitication of operation room nurses

Qualifications at my work are to be either a Registered or Enrolled nurse and RN's should have completed their GNP year (graduate nurse program). Once your employed you are usually encouraged to complete the hospital certificate in perioperative nursing, and then your strongly encouraged to do a graduate diploma in perioperative nursing.
