Perioperative nursing topics

im a nursing student.

for my Research Paper (a 1 page commentary reaction), what topic or an article within the Perioperative Nursing can you recommend to me that is easy for me to give a commentary reaction.

research idea:

Does the operating room need a registered nurse in each room? This topic is being debated in many places and AORN is fighting to mandate that a RN be in the room. You should be able to get a lot of info from AORN for your paper.

Are masks really necessary if staff does not have runny nose, sore throat? Does a mask really make a difference in infection rates?
