Periop nurse safety survey

This is a chance to increase the periop nurse's safety, through a national survey. Get involved -- even if you just email a comment! See http://www.cdc.gov/niosh/review/public/135/

Excerpt: "The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health is requesting public comment on the content and conduct of a survey of healthcare workers’ safety and health and a survey of healthcare employers’ safety and health practices. The goal of the healthcare worker survey is to collect information describing hazards, exposures, safety and health practices, and use of exposure controls by occupation and type and size of establishment."

The survey is focused on peds nurses and periop nurses. NIOSH pulls big weight when it comes to safety regulations, so take a few minutes to improve your future safety by commenting (see the link).

(I spent a few months test-driving a PACU position, so I can semi-identify with you all.)
