looking for studies R/T infection and wearing scrubs from home

going back to work in an ep lab that requires staff to wear scrubs from home..hospital not providing them. I've always worked at facilities that provide scrubs and am curious to know if there are studies that go against this as I'm thinking infection control is of major concern.
thanks!

Hello!
Our OR recently has also changed to personal scrubs that we wear in from home. Our entire staff was in an uproar, we all went home and researched AORN standards, JCAHO, etc., printed off copies and brought it to work, all for nothing. Of course management won. $165 later, I own my very own scrubs.
I too would be very interested in any studies out there.
By the way, not to sound stupid, but what is "ep lab" ?

Electrophysiology Lab--branch off of the Cath Lab--typically pacemakers/AICD insertions

Go to www.infectioncontroltoday.com and do a search. I think I have come across a few articles on the subject. Mike
