I was going to school for my adn and I changed my mind and decided what the crap lets go on and get the BSN..well now i can't pay for tuition because i live in the stare of Georgia and there is not a single school near me within 2 hours of driving to get my bsn..but i can go just 10 miles and pass into tennessee and get it at UTC..but i have to pay out of state tuition..well i can't afford it..can't move..so i thought i would just wait and i would get something else and then let the hosptial pay for my BSN..so i thought of Sugical Tech...how well does this pay..how hard is the school..can you travel and travel only in your area....if so do you still get a housing allowance..thanks for any other help..or what do you think i should do in order to get my BSN,,,my wish is to one day become a CRNA...i am still VERY VERY VERY young..i have two kids..but young. young..and i can wait..on the bsn..but i want to go to work to do something now..THANKS MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. IN THE STATE OF GA I GET THE HOPE GRANT..WHICH PAYS FOR EVERYTHING ..THAT IS HOW I WAS GOING TO SCHOOL IN THE FIRST PLACE

Go for your ADN. surgical techs don't make as much as RN. and if you really want to be a CRNA. then let the hospital pay for BSN. then you can work in the unit for 2 years then go for your CRNA. that is what some of my friends are doing here in TN.

Def go for the ADN...If you mk RN, you can get ICU/ER exp of at least an year (sometimes 2 yrs is required...) and then tk an accelerated MSN course for CRNA....That's my plan.....good luck!!!
