to write chemotherapy orders

the nurse must be certified to administer chemotherapy
and must ensure appropriate orders - be sure that the prescriber is qualified to write chemotherapy orders

How to determine the prescriber's qualifications?
And how does the nurse obtain certification to administer chemotherapy?

You can check Oncology Nursing Society chemotherapy biotherapy course. It is a 2 day course with CEU. You receive a chemotherapybiotherapy provider card after successfully passing the test. The course does not certify you to administer chemotherapy. It validates that you have the theoretical foundation needed to safely administer cytotoxic and biotherapeutic drugs. It is up to your employer to certify that you are competent.
