IV Vitamin C adminstration as Cancer treatment

Harvard educated Dr. Mark Levine, Chief & Senior staff Physican at the Molecular & Clinical nutrition section of the NIDDK has completed safety trials phase 1 on the use of IV vitamin C as a cancer treatment.
Vitamin C given intravenously saturates body cells at a higher rate than oral tabs would be able to provide. Dr. Levine's committee has reviewed several cases where the oncology patients chose to use IV vitamin C rather than conventional treatment and had surprisingly good results.
University of Kansas Medical Center physician Jeanne Drisko has $375,000 for a trial of ovarian pts. In Montreal, McGill University oncologist Wilson Miller has $300,000 to find the maximum safe doses for treating various cancers.
I'm wondering if any oncology nurses have cared for any patients in the past who have used this treatment and how did they do?
