Interview for surgical oncology unit...any suggestions?

I go for an interview for a surgical oncolgy unit soon. I am going to graduate in May. My mother died of breast cancer when I was 16. I would love to work on this unit. What kind of questions should I ask specific to oncology? Any suggestions for the interview would be greatly appreiciated. Thanks!

Re: Interview for surgical oncology unit...any suggestions?

Another important question to ask is regarding oncology certification. "How many nurses on the unit are certified oncology nurses (OCN®)?" And, "Will the facility pay the certification fees?"
Oncology nurses who seek certification must work in oncolgy for about a year before they can sit for the certification exam. If the unit has a lot of OCN®s then you know they want excellence and are able to retain their staff.
Hope this helps.
