I'm curious...night shift

If I do decide to go into oncology I would like to work from 7p-7a. My question to you nurses is: can you give me a peek into your shift? What all do ya'll do in oncology at night? How busy is it? Etc... Thank you so much.

Re: I'm curious...night shift

Really not much for chemo. Some infusions continue over night, but we don't end up hanging anything usually. The only thing that I can think of that gets hung that is related to chemo is Mesna usually, but that for kidney protective measures. So nights are usually pretty mellow.
