cisplatin without desensitization

anyone ever give cisplatin after a carboplatin reaction? I work in an outpatient clinic (not attached to a hospital) and we will be giving cisplatin with one physician who will be seeing his office patients on that day. We will pre-med with benadryl and hydrocortisone. Does this sound safe? Pts get their first cycle inpatient then will come to us. I found one article from the University of Va., but I don't know if their clinic is attached to a hospital.
