Hi,
I am general trained and never worked in this field but a friend has experienced this.
Wonder if anyone can give me any info/advice on anaphalaxis during administration of Chemo.
- Obviously the anaphalaxis was a severe reaction to the drug being given (sorry I don't know the drug name) but how long can side effects of the drug last? Usual Chemo side effects are still present after eight months.
- Is this similar to the situation of the absent enzyme not breaking down the drug?
- Her Onc said she has never met anyone who survived a full crash following this type of reaction...Has anyone else ever met this? Does anyone know of survivors?
- What is the long term prognosis following an event such as this?
Thank you for reading this, please help if you can. Thanks
