Need advice from an Occupational health nurse

Hello, My husband just started his own business in tooling, re: small factory. I would like to help him by supplying the occupational health that will be necessary. Can anyone give some advice on where I should gather the information I will need to get started? I haven't got a clue.

I would check with similar companies to see what the requirements are with this type of company. You will need to have private malpractice insurance if you work as a nurse for him and I am sure there are legal hurdles to jump. Good luck!

Go to AAOHN.com they also have state portals for state chapters and local chapters. You can then get in touch with other OHN in your area as laws vary from state to state. I have been a member of The American Association of Occupational Health Nurses and my local chapter the Western Michigan Association of occupational Health Nurses. I hope this helps

check and see if you have is a state/provincial occupational health nurses association. You may find some links there. In US there is an American Occupational Health Nurses assn. I am from Ontario and we have an Ontario Occupational Health Nurses Assn
