Hi y'all...(from the South, can you tell?)
Anyway, I am looking for anyone who knows something about caring for patients from West Africa, specifically Nigeria. We have a good number of these ladies coming to deliver and I don't know much about their culture. I'm sure culture depends on which tribe a person is from and a host of other things but I'm not really sure where to start. I'm specifically looking for postpartum/infant care/breastfeeding practices.
Is there anyone who has any advice or who can point me in the direction of some resources?
