Do anyone know of any schools that have this program in the south? If so how long is the program and is it stressful. My first choice is a CRNA but its always best to have plan B just incase you know. If you are a midwife what is your life like? this career and having kids and a husband etc. Also how much is the salary because I saw $75,000 then it was lower than that, I guess it depends on whether you are certified or not? What setting would be great to work in (home, hospital,etc). If you can send a website that would be great too. Thanks

If you practice as a nurse mid-wife, then you are certified.
The usual program is two years for the MSN/CNM.
There is quite a big difference in being a CNM vs. CRNA. I suggest that you
shadow someone in each of these areas. This is something that you will be doing for the rest of your life. The hours working and on call can vary greatly between the two.

You can also search job offerings from there under the "MidwifeJobs.com" tab at the top of the page. Most offerings I see usually start around $50K or maybe a little more depending on the area. If anyone knows better please correct me.
