Yup - I take it for cold sores. I get two 1 gram pills that I take once when I feel my lip tingling and it goes away without ever materializing. I love that stuff!

Shingles. I've had them on my face several times, and keep Valtrex at home so I can start it immediately when I feel an outbreak coming on.

Someone in my family suffers from Bell's Palsy. Whenever this strikes him, he takes an antiviral - usually Valtrex.
