it's been a week

since I put in for a transfer to the PP unit. I work flex pool now. She hasn't called me. I called her once last week and made sure she rec'd my request. Do you think this means she doesn't want me?

Re: it's been a week

It is hard to tell, sometimes suprevisors can just get busy, maybe a friendly "what's up" call may be in order . . . say you just wanted to make sure that there wasn't anything additional that she needs from you . . . . that may help you get a handle on what the situation is.

Re: it's been a week

Oh well, I listened to the jobline and the job is no longer there. There is one on another shift. She may have just moved around some staff or she may have just not been interested. I may look into home health. I am so burned out on floor nursing. There isn't another hospital around that delivers babies. The one in the next county isn't hiring.

I would still call them up and see what is going on!

I talked to her and she is using prn to cover the void. Oh well, I guess it just wasn't the right thing for me.
