Question Possible future career choice...

Hi. I have a question.
I start nursing school this spring, and feel that when I graduate I might want to work L and D. How will I need to go about getting into this and what should I do while I'm in school to help myself figure out if this is really what I want? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!!!

I have only these: Get through nursing school, studying all you can about OB/newborn nursing while there. Find a contact or network w/someone who can perhaps help you get into OB. Get the best grades you can...keep your nose clean thru school, and never take your eyes off the prize. Those are all the things I did and I secured a full-time job in OB in 1997, 3 mo before I graduated nursing school. IT CAN BE DONE! I wish you well!
