Hi,
I have recently returned to OB nursing after a 4 year stint on Med/Surg

and I am really enjoying getting back to my OB roots. I worked in OB for many years and taught childbirth education classes before I married and moved to a new community. I feel a bit rusty but I am surprised at how fast I remember things.
My question is: I have been asked by some who know I used to teach to teach some private classes in a few months. I have 3 couples who want to go together and have a class and a few couples on their own. I would love to do this but I don't really have many of my materials from my old teaching days. How do I go about setting up a class syllabus? What is the most important things that I should cover today? Any ideas on how to make it fun but imformative? Where am I going to get handouts, graphics, etc? I can't afford much. It was easy when I taught before. It was a hospital based program and everything, including the syllabus, was provided for me. Help!
My first class will be in October if I decide to do this.
All suggestions will be appreciated very much!
