Smile Question? - Perinatal Clinical Nurse Specialist

Would love to hear any "real life" experiences people have working as or with a perinatal CNS. I've considered moving in this direction, but want to know what it will really be like...and whether it's worth the time, effort, and money to go that route. For instance, I work with two CNMs that make more money being a staff L&D nurse...and don't have to deal with call, higher liability, etc. Any thoughts?
